Auto-driving New Volvo
Volvo cars user interface censers toke a center stage in the ground breaking drive me project that will put a hundred self-driving Volvo's on public roads in 2017. The interface is designed to be intuitive and easy to use. When the self-driving is ready to take on, the auto-pilot green lights in the two bars next to the steering turn on.
The driver can focus on other things as the car does the rest. When the self-driving is on, the car keeps the driver updated with what's going on, such as informing the driver about the traffic ahead. The car can automatically overtake on its own. The censer placed in the car senses 360 degrees around the car to be able to detect anything nearby. The information is always available in front of you.
The car tells and shows how much time left to reach your destination during auto-driving. When autonomous driving is no longer available, the driver is requested to take the wheel, a count down is displayed. If the driver does not respond, the car will put itself to a safe stop. Technology is interesting, soon we'll have robots doing everything for us.
